LCM Alumni & Community Awards

In the spring of 2012, the Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD unveiled its Alumni and Community Awards Program. Three categories of honors are awarded: LCM Military Wall of Honor; LCM Distinguished Alumni; and LCM Hall of Fame.

Military Wall of Honor
LCM CISD is proud to recognize and honor the men and women who have served our country in the military. We are grateful for their service and humbled by their many sacrifices. The virtual Military Wall of Honor is our way of demonstrating respect, appreciation, and indebtedness for their service. Any active military personnel or honorably discharged veteran who is an alumni or employee of Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, Mauriceville ISD, or Little Cypress ISD is eligible. The following are requirements for inclusion.

Distinguished Alumni

The LCM Distinguished Alumni Award is to recognize and honor Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, Little Cypress ISD, or Mauriceville ISD graduates of character and ability, who have distinguished themselves in a manner that brings honor and/or positive recognition to the LCM District and community. Eligibility requirements for the candidates include:

• Being distinguished in his or her chosen profession or life work;
• Demonstrating such integrity, stature, and ability that faculty, staff, students, and alumni will take pride in and be inspired by his or her recognition;
• Exhibits in word and deed, the importance of his or her education at LCMCISD, Mauriceville ISD, or Little Cypress ISD, and whose interest and loyalty are evident.

LCM Hall of Fame
The purpose of the LCM Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor an individual of the utmost character and integrity who has made an extraordinary impact on the Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD. Eligibility requirements for the candidates include:

• A person who has volunteered time, talent, or resources over a period of time; resulting in enhanced educational opportunities offered to the students of LCM CISD;
• A donor of a one-time contribution of such significance that the entire District is positively impacted; or
• A person, who by their involvement in LCM schools, has made a lasting impact on students, faculty, staff, and the community.
