Below, you will find some resources that may become useful as we transition into this temporary way of learning.
How to Obtain Technology Support
We have a process set up for students and parents to report problems, ask for passwords to be reset, etc. The process is to email helpdesk@lcmcisd.org
LCM Staff will follow normal procedure by submitting a work order in Eduphoria.
If the work request is to reset a student's password, the password will be reset by a member of the Technology Staff. Once the student's password is reset an email is sent to parents or all of the teachers on the student's schedule.
We would also like to remind faculty, staff, and students, that passwords cannot be reset from with the Office 365 platform.
The faculty, staff, and secondary school students (LCJH, MMS, LCMHS) should set up their password in Classlink so that they will be able to reset the passwords themselves in the future. There are are instructions on this page for completing the process in Classlink.
HOW-TOs:
MICROSOFT TEAMS:
Most Staff and students have an Office 365 account with access to Teams. Most of our state adopted textbooks are online with additional resources. These resources are provided to allow staff and students to familiarize themselves with the tools in the event it is necessary.
1) The following link will provide the ability to download the Teams app. Teachers should already have the Teams app installed on their laptops. The link should allow installation on personal devices or home computers used by lcm students or parents. District credentials would be used to log in. We are still working on setting up kindergarten in Office 365.
